I have bought Norton 360 for 3 pcs
We have two laptops both Acers in the house. It went on fine on the first laptop Acer Aspire 5742Z. When I
tried it on mine Acer Aspire 5532. It Installed but blocked me opening the internet. In the action center on windows 7 'installed spyware protection program' Norton is showing as 'off' and it looks a pretty easy solution to solve 'turn it on' but on pressing it does not work and remains as 'off'. I have a recent error which appears each time I load my laptop 'EgisUpdate' which is a white X on a red circle . I have to OK before I can open any documents. It disappears as soon as I Ok it. I have twice tried uninstalling all Norton as re installing it but It does not work. I have removed it and now I can get on the internet but still have to Ok the 'EgisUpdate'error message. My Friends laptop is working fine with the Norton 360 . So I know it is not the disk. I Have been using Norton for a number of years with no problems before.y
Any idea where else to look on the laptop would be great.
